NHS West Sussex Talking Therapies is part of the NHS Talking Therapies, for anxiety and depression programme (formerly known as Improving Access to Psychological Therapies, IAPT). We are the only NHS Talking Therapies provider in West Sussex, and we are one of the leading services in the country. We were ranked number 1 in the NHS Care Trust rankings in 2022-2023 for our recovery rates.
We provide a range of talking therapies and other treatments for adults with mild to moderate anxiety and depression. We also help people with a number of other mental health conditions. See our how are you feeling page for more information.
Our qualified, friendly therapists and clinicians comply with national NHS Talking Therapies guidelines and the treatments we offer are NICE-recommended. We offer guided self-help, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and counselling. Find out more about treatments.
We are an NHS service and we operate from a number of locations across West Sussex. We also provide services that can be accessed from your home. Find out more about where we work.
For more information about who can access our service, see our self-referral page.
Long-term health conditions team
We also have a long-term health conditions team (formerly Time to Talk Health) who provide specialist support for adults struggling to cope with certain health conditions.
